7th ANNUAL LADIES ONLY AMATEUR FISHING TOURNAMENT |
A big thank you to everyone who participated or volunteered
in our 7th Annual Babes on Baffin and Blue Tournament.
Over 75 teams, comprised of 250 women anglers, donated 72
live trout, reds, and black drum to the CCA/CPL Center to be
used for brood stock or placed in one of the fish ponds.
We look forward to seeing you again next Columbus Day
weekend at our 8th Annual Babes on Baffin and Blue
Tournament.

Don't forget to calendar Babes on the Bay which is another
great CCA tournament for ladies' as well as being the nation's
largest. Babes on the Bay is sponsored by CCA's Aransas Pass
Chapter and held every spring in Rockport, Texas.

INSHORE - TROUT, REDS, BLACK DRUM
LIVE WEIGH-IN BONUS
Anglers will be rewarded for donating their live fish to the CCA/CPL Marine
Development Center in Corpus Christi. This Center is the first state operated
hatchery producing juvenile red drum and spotted seatrout for releasing into
Texas bays for stock enhancement. Your donation of live fish will be used for
brood stock or placed in the kid fish pond to be used for educational purposes.
TOURNAMENT CONSISTS OF 5 DIVISIONS WHICH INCLUDES
PROFESSIONAL AND NON-PROFESSIONAL GUIDED DIVISIONS
Awards - Grand Slam Team Award; 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Team
Awards in four divisions; Individual Awards; Little Babes
Division; Best Team Outfit
Tournament Registration and Entry Fee is $80/Angler
Registration includes Saturday Dinner, T-Shirt, Visor, Goody
Bag, and Annual CCA Membership
Check-in is Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, 7 - 9 pm at Doc's Restaurant
Food and Drink available for Purchase
Tournament begins at sunrise Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 with
weigh-in from noon - 4 pm at Doc's
